A bad experience with DXM freebase
After downing bottles of robo and taking countless numbers of drixoral pills,
I decided enough was enough and extracted DXM from cough medicine. I bought
a few bottles of robitussin and extracted them the next day. I wanted to do
it in bulk, so that I could sell some to my freinds. I ended up with pure
DXM HBr.
I didn't know exactly how much I had extracted, so I went to a head shop in
my city and bought one of those cheap scales. That was my mistake. I
weighed out the amount and it gave me 1000mg of DXM. That was about how
much I wanted to take. I put the 1000mg of DXM inside capsules and
swallowed them.
I don't remember much of the trip. I did have a cool OBE, but I think I
might have been dead. Anyway, my girlfriend said that I was
convulsing. We had robed before, so she knew (or thought) I would be
alright. I was, but it scared me.
After that incident, I bought a good scale for about $20 bucks. I had done
DXM countless times before, over 1000mg and had never had this kind of
experience. It was really scary. With that cheap scale, the amount I took
was probably near the 1500-2000mg mark. Now, when I extract, I weigh it out
carefully with the $20 scale. It is accurate. My word to the wise is that
when you're dealing with DXM in it's pure form, don't underestimate it.
It's a totally different ballgame. Be careful with that stuff.
